The client was looking to attract his target audience which ranged from 20 to 50-year-old men and women for his French Café located in a mall near a university dorm. He wanted to put his wide variety of fresh food, sweets, and chocolates on display. In terms of colors, he was looking for a black and white classic look with some touches of modernity and accents of color.
Therefore we opted for a modern and fresh monochromatic ambiance that carried the traditional spirit of a French Café.
In order to offer a more pleasing atmosphere for visitors and create a distinct brand identity, we added an accent color line to the color scheme, together with several signature textures.
As a brand that targets a wide audience, the interior design needed to have a balanced setting that was both sophisticated and clean and created a calm vibe.
We chose our basic color scheme which was to serve as a canvas that would highlight the display of fresh food, sweets and chocolates. Matching custom designed air conditioners and heating systems were also to be put in place.
The seating is flexible while also providing an easy circulation for guests. It is soft and comfortable allowing guests to enjoy every moment of their stay.
We also added a blend of accents on the glossy surfaces of the tables, decorative brushed copper inlays, and shiny upholstery fabrics.
Basic finishes, such as ¬for the floors, walls, ceiling and fixed furniture give off the monochromatic appearance of the café. To add sparkle to space, a metal mesh curtain was added in front of the black-out curtain.
In order to visually enclose the entire cafe area, perimeter glass surfaces have graphics applied on them which will also add to the impression of layered space.
