The fast food industry has evolved into a dominant force in the restaurant business. Fast food brands today aim to attract customers for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, attempting to close the gap between casual fast food dining and fine dining. In this modern fast food restaurant, interior design, vivid colors, efficient circulation, and an uncluttered layout all serve to encourage customers to enjoy a sit-down meal in a bright, spacious and airy interior space.
This modern fast food restaurant has a unique and refreshing take on fast food interior décor. Bright, fresh and attractive, the restaurant is spacious and inviting. The basic color palette is a combination of white, grey and brown; the chirpy yellow accents give the restaurant its hip, funky vibe. The materials used, enhance this concept with warm wood, brick patterned walls painted white and dark grey wall panels. A neutral light grey concrete flooring with white and yellow line patterns ties the whole design together.
Unlike traditional fast food restaurants, tables are not crowded together and patrons are encouraged to sit and enjoy their meals. The ground level is predominantly for singles and couples while the first floor accommodates family seating.
The menu board and food display are designed with simplicity and clarity, making it easy for customers to see what’s on offer. This eliminates long queues and encourages a quick and efficient ordering process, enabling customers to be seated quickly, without having to wait in long queues. The spaciousness also ensures that seating is placed away from any queues so that seated patrons can enjoy their meals.
Adopting a unique approach, an innovative system of custom-designed suspended ceiling panels provides ambient lighting in the modern fast food restaurant interior design. Ceiling mounted, recessed spotlights provide more focused lighting near displays.
The first level accommodates family style seating with comfortably designed, chic sofa booths. Seating booths for those that desire a little more privacy are designed in a minimalist style, shaped like a box. Using charcoal grey couches and bright yellow wall panels, the booth is both cozy and inviting. A single downlight provides the required illumination.
The upper level seating is designed at different levels, giving all patrons a view of the play area. Sofa seating offers a comfortable alternative to tables. The décor follows the design aesthetic of the ground floor, but with a touch of fun more suited to families with children. Visual drawings and wall displays are both fun and educational for the children.
An interesting play area for kids ensures that families can dine in comfort while young children are happily entertained. Yellow neon lighting adds a touch of oomph and fun to this modern fast food restaurant interior design. Conical pendant lights, with black and yellow shades, provide area lighting for dining.
Using their own vision and ideas, the designers have moved away from traditional fast food restaurant décor to a more innovative design that is both interesting and stylish. Modern materials and unique colors are used to communicate quality, comfort and a modern aesthetic that define the identity of this restaurant.
