The bedroom is arguably one of the most important private rooms in a home; it’s where we can retire to relax and rejuvenate after a long day. Bedroom designs, therefore, need to be functional and aesthetically appealing, while invoking a sense of calm.

In this plush Saudi Arabian home, the bedrooms are envisioned as modern living spaces. Each one has been designed with a unique touch, taking into consideration natural light, layout and function. In this modern bedroom interior design, neutral, earthy tones create a relaxing atmosphere that does not jar the nerves. Decorative screens are used for privacy and to separate functions within the bedroom. The bed is placed close to a window to avail the natural light. The cozy TV area is placed behind the screen to avoid glare from the window.

The seating area opens up to a walk-in closet. To avoid the creation of a long, narrow corridor, part of the corridor space within the walk-in closet is used for storage. This visually expands the walk-in closet and eliminates the feel of a corridor. The bathroom is accessed through the wardrobe area and is decorated in tones of white and grey.

The second bedroom also utilizes neutral shades of grey and beige but is a little more playful with the introduction of white and blue. Blue accents compliment the neutral colors while adding a vibrant mood to the modern bedroom interior design.
A screen, placed opposite the bed, combines the functions of a television and computer screen. This was done to make optimal use of the natural light from the adjacent window, which is ideal for working and writing.

The walk-in wardrobe is accessed via the bedroom and leads into the bathroom, which follows the same design aesthetic as the bedroom. The layout and finishes are clean, elegant and minimal, enhancing the function of the space and maintaining the desired aesthetic.

The third bedroom is distinctly more masculine in its design, using wooden flooring and shades of grey. The vibe in this modern bedroom interior design is definitely more sophisticated. A work desk is placed adjacent to the bed. An opening beside the desk leads into the walk-in wardrobe.

The wood flooring continues into the wardrobe area, complimenting the wood-paneled sliding cupboard doors. A bench covered in blue fabric adds a splash of color to the walk-in wardrobe. In keeping with the other bathrooms, this one too is minimally designed, resulting in a clean, clutter-free bathroom.

The fourth and final bedroom, in contrast to the previous one, is more delicate and feminine in its vibe. Wall shades of taupe are offset with a pastel pink and shades of grey textiles. The room is bright and airy, with built-in seating right under the window. This creates a well-lit, intimate spot for relaxing or reading.

In this bedroom, the room opens up to encompass a wall-to-wall mirrored closet, making the room look large and spacious. The white tiled flooring is continued into the bathroom, which also utilizes pretty pastel pink to match the bedroom design.
Each bedroom design incorporates a unique element, giving it its own unique character and distinguishing it from the other bedrooms in the house.
