In today’s fast-paced world, we want information at our finger tips. Convenience and quick access to news and information is the key to keeping informed and up to date with everything happening around the world. Cell phones make this possible; smartphone penetration into the Middle East region is on the rise, particularly in Saudi Arabia. Statistics show a steady increase in the rise of cell phone users over the years. Mobile stores are therefore popular and their design needs to reflect the depth of technology of their products.
This minimal cell phone store interior design for the Gravity brand aims to do just that. Clean, simple and minimal, the design aims to focus attention on products and displays with minimal distractions. A white marble counter against a backdrop of backlit glass is the focal point of the store. Simple and elegant, it creates a trendy, modern vibe for the retail store.

The entrance to the store is elegant and understated. Floor to ceiling glass panels offer a clear, uninterrupted view of the interiors. The color palette is light; dark colors are avoided to make the small space seem larger, bright and airy. A high, white ceiling adds to the feeling of spaciousness. Strategically placed spot lights brighten up displays and draw the eye to the products on offer.


Light colored wood adds warmth to the minimal cell-phone store interior design. Used as a backdrop for displays, the natural light wood color draws minimal attention to itself, placing emphasis on the products instead. The display is neat, simple and uncluttered as is the store design itself.
The furniture has clean, simple lines and is functional. All furnishing and fixtures avoid additional embellishment so as to provide little distraction to customers.

Despite the space restrictions, the design provides a small nook for customers to sit and inspect equipment at leisure. This allows customers to spend more time in the store, encouraging them to explore new products, which in turn has a direct impact on sales.

Natural greenery helps bring the outdoors into the store and provides visual relief. This adds to the level of comfort and enhances the customers’ overall shopping experience.
