CAS designers opted for a rustic industrial restaurant design for the small, cozy Craft Burg restaurant in Russia.
Our designers were given an old building to work with for the rustic Craft Burg restaurant interior design. The owner of Craft Burg wanted a cost-effective and fast-paced design so that the restaurant could be opened to welcome guests as soon as possible.

We decided to keep the brick walls in place but covered the exposed bricks with white paint for hygiene reasons. This had an added bonus of making the small restaurant look less cramped.
Our designers used warm colors and wood textures along with creativity in lighting to create a completely new and friendly environment for guests in the cold Russian climate.
The best part of the design is the relatively tall niches which look out to the Russian city.

Cushions have been placed on them so that guests could comfortably enjoy a cozy sitting area next to the windows.
The rear spaces were allocated for the staff and were designed in the same industrial style.
In addition to the warm interior space, we also designed the exterior, and logo for Craft Burg. We chose an old-fashioned style for the exterior so as to match the city’s traditional grace.

The client (who is Russian) wanted the restaurant to feel like it’s not Russian. The main idea was to show that their burgers were not ordinary burgers, but “crafted” burgers made of high-quality ingredients and 100% beef, as realized in one glance at the logo. The logo was used in several spots in the exterior and interior including the seating cushions. The branding package included the menu, aprons, coasters, and to-go bags.
