Coffee shops are instrumental in revitalizing neighborhoods. They attract greater pedestrian and social activity that helps create livelier streetscapes. A well thought out co-working coffee shop design can become a hub where anything is possible; business deals can be struck here and new friendships developed.
Located in the posh Jumeirah district in the glamorous city of Dubai, this coffee shop is designed on the European model of the outdoor cafe. It has all the elements needed to make it a successful, trendy hot spot. Targeting young designers, the design utilizes bright colors and trendy patterns for a fresh, youthful vibe.

Laser cut brass metal partitions provide some privacy without compromising the flexibility of this co-working coffee shop design. The pattern is repeated on the walls, adding a sense of flow and continuity to the design.
An ingenious pivotal window system adds a definite touch of modernism to the design. The large window panels rotate on a central pivot, opening into a vertical position. The system also helps to blur the distinction between indoors and outdoors, offering clear views of the palm trees and lush green grass beyond.
The design is cleverly thought out, particularly for the hot climate of Dubai – patrons feel like they are outdoors while enjoying the cool air-conditioned environment of the bright and airy café.
A colorful custom-blended marble mosaic design adds to the feeling of brightness. The furniture layout is flexible, but not crowded, maximizing the efficiency of the compact space

A grey terrazzo countertop and backsplash add homogeneity to the design, complementing the mosaic flooring. Modern furniture accessories complete the design. Brass elements are used throughout the design. Brass edging on the marble tables chair frames picks up on the brass laser cut partitions. Glass shelves with brass frames are used for display in the coffee counter area. Ombre brass pendant lamps provide warm lighting during the nights.

Brass is also used as edging for mirrors in the washrooms. A monolithic marble sink with brass fittings makes a bold statement while marble-patterned porcelain tiles continue the design aesthetic into the service areas.
Bright, airy and vibrant, this co-working coffee shop design provides an inviting and comfortable environment in which to forge new relationships and cement old ones!
